I Love LED Tea Lights and Candles…

Let’s just put that right out there. Since I purchased my first battery tea lights several Christmases ago I’ve had a growing love affair with a variety of LED candle products.

I love the soft flickering glow they produce. It’s so relaxing and calming. You can hardly tell them from open-flame candles. I love that they can come with timers and remote controls to make them easy to turn off and on. And I love that they are environmentally friendly, with no carbon footprint, so I can use them without guilt.

I love not having to worry about smoke, melting wax or heat. And I love not having to worry about the kids or cats getting a body part singed. I can light a candle or two and watch television. If I doze off, no worries! And because they’re flameless they last practically forever.

And I love how many ways I can use them…from tea lights in votive holders, table centerpieces and Christmas decorations to taper candlesticks in my windows at night and pillar candles in lanterns to dress my fireplaces. They are great decoration for tables at banquets, weddings and parties. You can even use them in an emergency when the power goes out.

They are so easy to use! Put them in arrangements with fresh or dried plant materials. Use them on the mantle without getting dingy smoke residue on the walls. Put them in the windows; no need to worry that draperies or blinds will be damaged.
